Rhea has experience in both public and private organisations working on the energy transition. Currently, she is working on accelerating the energy transition within the Port of Amsterdam, through developing hydrogen projects such as the pipeline network for hydrogen and supporting the realisation of import terminals for green hydrogen. This involves bringing together multiple stakeholders from the national government, grid operators and energy suppliers to develop a resilient value chain.
Prior to working for Port of Amsterdam, Rhea participated in the Dutch Government Financial Traineeship, holding positions at the Ministry of Finance and at the Permanent Representation at the OECD in Paris. She then held a position at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the policy domain of international trade diplomacy with a special focus on the Middle East and North Africa.
Rhea holds an MSc in Political Science from Leiden University and has a strong interest in international cooperation, trade and sustainable development, and the energy transition.
